What got you into cosplay?
I was inspired by some of my friends who I'd seen pictures of cosplaying. I was also inspired just by seeing other people's pictures. It looked like so much fun that I decided to try it out for myself. ^_^;
What was your first costume and why?
Shuichi Shindou's concert outfit was my first costume. After watching Gravitation, I decided that I would cosplay as Shuichi since he was my favorite character from my absolute favorite anime series at the time.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Rena! She's my most popular costume and I LOVE carrying around that huge sword.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
To have commissioned you mean? xD First dream costume was Rena from .hack//Legend of the Twilight, which has been done. Next up, Rei Ayanami's plugsuit from Neon Genesis Evangelion.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
My first time wearing my Rena costume at Anime Central 2007. I finally had the chance to walk around in my first dream costume and loved every moment of it. It also made me happy that people didn't seem to mind my figure given the costume. I had lots of pictures taken of me too.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yes, but just for stage presence, not craftsmanship. None of my costumes aren't 100% made by me anyway.

Tell us a little about yourself
College student, not currently enrolled. I'm taking a small hiatus. I was vice president of the anime club at my college. Right now I work as a sales associate at Steve & Barry's.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I'm mainly into cosplay for the whole modeling aspect, and that the characters I usually cosplay are characters that I either like, or have something in common with. I like the idea of being able to dress up and be someone else for a day. Most of my costumes are bought because I do not have the sewing skills, so a side note, nothing you see in my gallery has been made by me, but are commissions made by others. A huge thank you goes out there to them for making my cosplay dreams a reality for me.
