What got you into cosplay?
I ADORE Sailor Moon and since 2003 I have been getting deeper and deeper into the fandom. I have been writing Crystal Tokyo Sailor Moon fanfic, and wanted to dress up as my favourite character
What was your first costume and why?
Technically, I suppose it would be a really sad looking classic Sailor Moon complete with a yarn wig. I pulled it together for a NewYears eve costume contest 3 years ago. It was fun, and I thought it was a great costume until last October when we went to an anime club halloween party. I was put to shame, so I decided I had to do better. My first real costume evolved from the discovery that I could use hair extensions instead of a wig... Such a natural and elegant hairstyle needed a new costume: and I have always loved Neo-Queen Serenity's dress, so I made it.
What is your favorite costume and why?
My pregnant Neo Queen Serenity. I love the character, and it's special to look back at the pictures while I was pregnant. Of course, I could barely walk in it since it was too long, but that doesn't matter :)
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
No dream outfit, but I do have a list of about 20 costumes that I'd love to make. I just can't make them all though, sadly.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Meeting new friends in costume contest lines
Do you participate in masquerades?

What was your best masquerade experience?
I guess Megacon 2007 when my family won best group. I made 3 of the 4 costumes and was really proud of them.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Best technical at Anime Express 2006, 2nd place novice at AFO 2006, Best group at Megacon 2007, 2nd place intermediate at AFO 2007
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm a mom of an active toddler born late 2006. I'm starting up a business selling accessories, and I love writing.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I think cosplay will be very fun and beneficial for me. Already I can see that it will help my writing because I get to become my character a little bit. For example, after wearing Neo-Queen Serenity's wings for a day, I will be writing her getting stuck in doors and poking people in the eyes! I never would have thought of that before I strapped them on!

Not much into games. Though I loved Bonks adventures as a kid, and I actually played all the way through the Shrek game! Bust a Move (the puzzle game, not the dancing one) is probably my very favourite! I'm tempted to try out the new NiGhts into Dreams on Wii though; the original saturn game was one of my favourites!
