What got you into cosplay?
So mildsevens says to me she says, "Hey. Lets play dress up!"
What was your first costume and why?
Officially, a male waiter from the culture festival episode of Azumanga Daioh. It was the series that brought me back into Anime and it was one of two male characters in the entire series.
What is your favorite costume and why?
It's not very exciting, nor is it terribly interesting, but anything Prince of Tennis. I'm lazy and the hardest part of Prince of Tennis cosplay is tying your shoes.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
A set of MJOLNIR Mark VI armor from the Halo series. And if I were muscular in the slightest, Necro from Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
While cosplaying Bridget from GGXX, a female cosplayer came up to me, shook my hand and said, "Congratulations". She then tilted her head slightly and asked, "You are a boy, right?". Mission Accomplished.

I'm a freelance games writer, as seen daily on Joystiq.com. I also write previews and reviews for 1UP, as well as Electronic Gaming Monthly. I'm a Mac user and my favorite game is Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike.
