What got you into cosplay?
My friend Cody and I decided to dress up as DBZ characters for Halloween, and then we found out that lots of people dressed up as anime characters. So, I think that was the spawning of it all.
What was your first costume and why?
Piccolo from DBZ, it was a Halloween costume. It was just fun to run around in and make a fool out of myself. It only lasted the one night, but that's what it was for :)
What is your favorite costume and why?
Arcanine! He may have taken forever to make and was really hot to wear. But I was soft and plush and people loved me. HUGS!!!!! I was absolutely adoriable! Just fun to wear.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
The catbus from "My Neighbor Totoro". Hopefully after 3 years of waiting. I'll have him done for 2007 I SWEAR IT!
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Cosplaying as Ichigo for Cosplay Chess at Connecticon 2006 and getting slaughtered by Wolverine and the rest of the X-Men. Wolverine was so funny. LOVE YA WOLVIE!!
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yeah! Won our first time for our skit "Dead Men Don't Sing". It was an incredible experience, even though my part of the skit sucked...everyone else was hilarious :)
What was your best masquerade experience?
Even though the audio got screwed up twice. Being a summon for our Yugi-Oh skit. "The Humaniod Typhoon" in "Defense Mode" and I got down crying and begging not to be hurt. It was funny.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
2nd for Arcanine at one of the local Anime Festivals. Honorable Mention at Genericon 2005 (Arcanine) 5th for Tasuki at another Anime Festival. Most Technical Costume Chibicon 2005 (Totoro) Hall Costume Contest Llamacon 2006 (Totoro) 2nd Place for Craftsmanship at Conbust 2007 (Vash)
Tell us a little about yourself
Let's see, I've had a poem of mine published in an Anothology for Young Americans. Been living on my own with Kandelon, my fiannce...avid Otaku, I've been between jobs for the past few years hasn't completely dampered my spirits yet. I love working on my scrapbooks and working on my costumes. Our apartment is bursting at the seams :) We also have our blossoming collection of dragons taking over the place :)

I love my friends, and Tyler(kandelon)...I don't know where I would be without them. Thanks Guys, I don't always say it...but you're all awesome (even when we get on each others nerves) >p :)

HAPPY FEET !!!! X-Men Triology, Harry Potters, Pirates of the Carribean, pretty much anything with Johnny Depp:), PIXAR Movies. OH YEAH ! "The Last Unicorn" (You have to see this movie! It started everything I've loved about animation!) I love Rainbow Brite and Disney. I'm just a big little kid. But that's what keeps me going, I LOVE IT!
