What got you into cosplay?
I've always liked to dress like my favourite carachters, but I did it only in halloween and carnival since 2002. I had to go to a convention in Rome (Italy), it was my first time there and the friend whit whom I had to go planned to do a Galadriel cosplay. She said me to do a costume too, it sounds great to me so I looked all the LOTR costumes I can made...I've just seen The Two Towers, I didn't like so much Arwen carachter (in the movie), but I chose her costume when she "sees" Aragorn's Death... It was not too difficult to do and I'm crazy for velvet!...so..it is, I went to that convention with my "grandma-galadriel" friend and I get into cosplay...definitely! ^.^
What was your first costume and why?
I think Arwen Mourning Gown was my first REAL cosplay (for real I mean that when I did it I knew what the word "cosplay" mean, and I wanted to do cosplay..), but if I had to think, the first cosplay-like costume I did was Sailor-something (I adapted to me Sailor moon's outfit!) for carnival.. I think I can be...13? maybe 14...I can't remember...unluckyly I have no images of it... (well...maybe I'm lucky of not have it! :P )
What is your favorite costume and why?
Actually I love my Mononoke costume (the wig is wonderfull! it looks like real!) and the Suiseiseki one...I'm crazy for velvet...so it is! :P
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
-"Best Group" at SANREMO COSPLAY 2007 (Sanremo-Italy) with my Star Wars Group -"Twin award" at Saturday cosplay contest at CARTOOMICS 2007 as Suiseiseki (with my friend as Souseiseki) -"Miss cosplay 2008" at FESTIVAL DEL FUMETTO 2008 (Novegro, Milano Italy) with my Mononoke & Suiseiseki costume -"giorgiacosplay.com award" at PISA COSPLAY 2008 with the RG veda group as Dark Ashura -"Twin award" at LUDICA 2008 (assago, Milano Italy) as Megu Chan
Tell us a little about yourself
I study Natural Science at the University in my city. I like taking pictures, reading books and manga and travelling. As sports I played volleyball for 9 years. Now I play medieval sword in a Living History Group called "Compagnia di Chiaravalle"
