What got you into cosplay?
I love Costuming and found this as a great hobby to keep doing what I love.
What was your first costume and why?
Claire Redfield. I was a huge fan of the RE franchise
What is your favorite costume and why?
Soren! It came out amazing and it's so much fun to wear, although some people get creeped out by the red contacts.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
If I ever get in shape I would love to be The Major! And Ayane from DOA but I dont see either happening any time soon :( Also Petrine from Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, she is smexay!
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Getting practically glompraped after walking in the doors of Sakura Con '08. Everyone loved my Mia and sign and kept stopping me for pics. It felt great to play someone so many people recognized and liked.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yessum!
What was your best masquerade experience?
Winning First place at Aurora-Con last year. We were all so stoked! We had worked so hard and it had paid off. (My first time writing our script as well)
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Yes. My Tsunade costume won the Halloween costume contest at UAA Anime Club 2006. UPDATE: My Franziska costume won first place at the UAAAC Halloween Costume Contest 2007!
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm 27 years old and live on the top of the world :D I work as a barista but voice act and draw on the side. I want to be a cartoonist or Video Game designer. I'm married with no kids yet, though maybe someday. I'm a social butterfly so if I message you out of the blue please dont be alarmed :D I love meeting new people. I'm a huge nerd *cough* fan of video games and anime and I love Cosplay with a passion.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
Being a plus sized cosplayer I try my best to make my costumes as acurate and vibrant as possible, so people will still enjoy the costume despite my size.
