What got you into cosplay?
Well it was my first convention (Katsucon 2000) and I was already enough of a fan to know that many people cosplay at cons, so for my first con, i thought it was only natural I should cosplay. I was surprised to see that not everyone cosplayed though lol.
Well after my first experience, with my horribly made costume but people strangely liked it anyway, I decided to go to next con (Otakon) wearing a costume ... and it just took off from there.
What was your first costume and why?
Suu from Clover. I was into CLAMP back then when not many knew about it XD (Since everyone still loved Sailor Moon, DBZ and a few Akira/Ranma 1/2 fans... occasional Kenshin fans XD)
And out of CLAMP stuff, Clover was one of my most fav manga at the time.
What is your favorite costume and why?
That's an unfair question. XD I can list which ones I didn't like, but I can't list my favorite since I DO like all the rest (which is most of my costumes). I just can't choose.
The only costumes I wasn't that proud of were Suu from Clover and Rinoa from FF8. Others are a toss-up XD
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I can make a list up to 20 XD
I'll probably make them as I go down the road.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
At Otakon 2000, I met my most favorite idol of all time, Midorikawa Hikaru. This guy was the center of my life and I worshiped him since 1994 when I watched/read Slam Dunk and became an anime fan. He voiced my favorite character, Rukawa Kaede.
I happened to be wearing black Alexiel outfit, from Angel Sanctuary. I was pretty decent looking in it, lotsa goth, make-up, permed hair, jewelry, you get the idea.
So for the first question, he asked Mina to ask him, since he knew she was cosplay Anthy (from anime Utena which Midorikawa was also in).
For his second question, he looked around and saw me and said, "Kuro... kuro..." in which case I knew enough Japanese to know he was asking for the girl in black 0.0;;;
**** This part is almost rant so you can skip XD ****
So. I got up. And asked the question I've been DYING to say since year 1994.
I've been keeping up with Midorikawa's news so I knew that he just got married 2 months ago. (which I cried in tears hearing the news yet happy for him)
So I said, "I want to ask two questions. Are you married?" (i just wanted to let others know he was)
In which case everyone said wooooo
He said Yes (IN ENGLISH XD I love this man)
Then I said, "Then I want to ask my second question! Would you take a lover or a concubine!!"
The whole room went up in an uproar and chaos. Two people even took a picture of me.
I knew he'll say no, but I just had to ask him!!! T.T
In which case, he was a bit surprised why the whole room was laughing and screaming, and when the translator explained he laughed too and said "Sorry, my wife would kill me"
Do you participate in masquerades?
No.
I'm too shy.
Perhaps one day when I gain the courage. I know many of my friends want to, and i'm bringing them down T.T
What was your best masquerade experience?
I'm usually too shy to get on stage.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Yes I have won awards but I don't like to compete. I don't enter them unless my friends force me to enter with them as a group.

Slam Dunk, Naruto, Slayers, One Piece, Fruits Basket, Utena, Prince of Tennis, Inu Yasha, Black Jack, Jojo's Bizzare Adventure, Tsubasa, Detective Conan, Berserk, and tons more.

Dead or Alive, Guilty Gear, Lunar, FF6 (and a lot of other FF series), Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, plus more I don't feel like listing :P
