What got you into cosplay?
I liked playing dress up when I was little, and it sort of evolved into cosplay when I learned such a thing exists.
What was your first costume and why?
Jill Valentine, and that was closet cosplay to the max, minus the shoulder pads.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Poison Ivy. It's the first "adult" costume I did, meaning I usually cosplay kid or comic relief characters, and I think I pulled it off pretty well.
Jubilee is great too, because she's easy to put on, and I channel her personality. : )
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I'm starting to get more into American comics, and plan to make Harley Quinn and Delirium for Dragon*Con and that sounds like it's going to be a bucket of fun.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
At Otakon 2006, I was able to meet Kouta Hirano and receive a personal sketch from him, which was quite the experience.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Nay.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
I do costumes for fun, not awards. : )
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm a lifeguard and swim instructor, so that's always fun, because nothing is sexier than the exotic smell of chlorine.
If I'm not working, I'm attending Kent State for Fashion Design and come in to work at my local Gamestop when they want a break from the sausagefest.
