What got you into cosplay?
A character whose torn between his friendship and war from Gundam SEED – Athrun Zala.
What was your first costume and why?
Athrun Zala in ZAFT uniform from Gundam SEED (2003). As soon as I seen him on screen, I completely fell in love with him and I would like to feel his feelings in the series. Thus, the reason by cosplaying is that you are able to become that character for one day...and enjoy the fun!
What is your favorite costume and why?
Saori Athena from Saint Seiya (Supanova 2008), Suigintou from Rozen Maiden (SMASH! 08), and Marie Antoinette from Rose of Versailles (Animania 2008). Each of them had a lot of unique memories and experiences.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Shun Andromeda, Scorpio Milo from Saint Seiya and Fran from Final Fantasy XII
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Being as one of the cosplayers are always the most memorable during the convention, because people taking pictures of you and be popular for one day or two. You feel the fun.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Always every year.
What was your best masquerade experience?
When I was cosplaying as Franziska Von Karma, people tend to give me lots of funny ideas for posing. It was very casual and fun at the same time.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Nominated Best Group as Priestess (RO) and Lust (Fullmetal Alchemist) in Animania 2005. Won in Best Group as Oruha (Tsubasa Chronicles) in Supanova 2007, Athena (Saint Seiya) in Supanova 2008 and Marie Antoinette (Rose of Versailles) in Animania 2008. Won as the Runner-Up Female as Suigintou (Rozen Maiden) at SMASH!08. Won in Best Overall Cosplay as Athena (Saint Seiya) at Manifest 2008. Won in Best Group and Best Skit as Kiryuuin Kaoru (Ouendan II) at Mini Animania 2009. Won Best Group as Allelujah Haptism (Gundam 00) at Supanova 2009. Won Best Skit as Anthy Himemiya (Revolutionary Girl Utena) at SMASH!09.
