What got you into cosplay?
You know, I never thought I would get into it. I'm horribly shy and not really a big sew-er. And I never thought I was enough of a fan to get into it (I wasn't even sure I would ever make it to a con). Some of the people out there are so dedicated. It's really impressive. However, my resovle finally dwindled to 'if I get someone to dress with me, I'll do it.' And for my very first con I got two people. So we cobbled together our stuff and headed off to Fanime '06 as Vincent, Cid and Reno.
Unfortunely, I just had to get sick that weekend, so I was a bit of a party pooper and spent most of the time sitting in the hall. But it was much fun none the less. By Yaoi-Con '06 the costume had some improvments and I dressed all by my lonesome.
What was your first costume and why?
Vincent Valentine. Persuaded a friend to go with me to Fanime and Yaoi-con as Cid Highwind. Although I like Cid more (not much) and his costume is much easier, I was stuck dealing with long hair, and there was no way I was cutting it. So, ta da.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I want to do a group cosplay from the Warchild (by Karin Lowachee) series so badly. I don't care that no one would recognize us; it would be so much fun. Darn the expenses! I want to be a soljet!
....If there is a long coat/duster invovled, I've probably been interested. (I have a thing for coats.) I want a Meine Liebe coat.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
I've only dressed twice, so there's nothing really exciting. Anytime someone asks for my picture I'm amazed. I really need to learn how to get my picture taken...I'm terrible at poses ^^;

Have you won any awards for your costumes?
No, and I would be utterly floored if I ever did...

Yay for Community College!
Um, I'm hoping (and studying) to become a Forensic Lab Tech (Yay lab rats!). I like baking and decorating cup/cakes. And I'm learning Sign Language
