GREETINGS!

Just who am I? Jeez, I can go and on and on but here, lemme try a shortened version: Tales series fanatic. Over-the-top Dist fan, derp. Loves videogames a bit too much (would rather cosplay from a videogame than an anime). **Actively seeking a group to do awesome srs group cosplay with. (RI sucks for finding other cosplayers who like the same series as I do...), especially for Tales series cosplay. :3 The cons I usually go to are down the East coast so I don't limit myself to just one con a year, harhar. There can always be exceptions though... *wink* Also, I LOVE holding photo shoots and I love my Barrelow X (Canon baby). <3

I'm friendly, and I don't bite (much), so please feel free to contact me (AIM SN is Dist the Rose, I kid you not). I love making new friends, especially ones who love cosplay and Tales series. ^_^ If you have a question about my costumes or me MYSELF, feel free to ask...and I'll respond as best as I can! Oh and I'm quite fond of RP (usually from Tales series). So that's a bit about me. :3

I guess I should mention that I'm always busy: when I'm not video gaming or cosplaying, I'm working in the lab (yes, lab! I work every weekday x:) or at school (science owns my life lolol).

What got you into cosplay?
The sheer beauty of it all! I like meeting up with people and having fun playing as characters from Tales series, etc. Or just cosplaying characters from obscure fandoms that do not get enough love. ^_^
What was your first costume and why?
My first real costume that I took seriously was, of course, Dist the Rose (2nd costume). This then created a whirlwind of more Dist cosplay: his default costume (snakeskin pants ftw), casual Dist, and lastly lab!Dist. Hee... on a side note: I'm slowly working on child Saphir for a potential Keterburgers photo shoot. I'm currently looking for a child!Jade and child!Peony to accompany me (a Professor would be an AWESOME bonus). I already have a child!Nephry.<3
What is your favorite costume and why?
Dist the Rose in ANY variant. He is so crazy and flamboyant - fun to act as. It's great to see people's reactions when I walk by-- if not for the white hair and maniacal grin, the giant flower collar catches so much attention! Hee hee!
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Ummmm at the moment? YEAGER. *WITH* his freakin' huge sniper rifle thing he uses in his mystic arte. YES. :] One day I'll pull it all off. It will take lotsa time as I never made a real prop weapon before...
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Keterburg cosplay at Katsucon 13. It was AMAZING to the EXTREME. Hahaha!! My group was so fun. Too bad we disbanned, huh...well, it's their loss. :P
Do you participate in masquerades?
No, but maybe someday I will if I ever find a cosplay group.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
I WON THE HEARTS OF DIST FANS WORLDWIDE, HAHAHA! Er. But seriously? Nah, nothing really. I never entered any contests before. Cons for me is like a) dealer's room, b) cosplay photo ops and c) uhhh some panels on the side. XDDD Be badass in cosplay and have fun at the same time. :3
Tell us a little about yourself
I start way too many projects all at once but I mean well. Hehehe! My problem is, I have way too many ideas and never enough time or organization. XD I'm a very enthusiastic fan (DIST!) and with that comes innate hyperness, oh yes. Mwahaha! I might come off as intimidating when you first meet me, so sorry in advance. I love to meet other fans, though, a warning, I'm a bit competitive by nature... so anything to do with Dist... *gestures, trailing off* Feel free to contact me, though I can't say I'll bite you or not, haha. As for school, I'm a Clinical Laboratory Science major. Kudos to you if you know what it is! >D It's a very thorough and demanding major that seeps up all my time during school. x: That, and I work in Kent Hospital's laboratory 20 hrs a week, heheheh! Yes I'm one of the few to say that I DO love my job. Boy oh boy, with such a busy schedule, where do I find the time to study...? Yeah it's a pain but I manage. XD Hey I must be doing something right 'cuz I just got inducted into the National Society of Collegiate Scholars, wut wut. ;) Oh, did I mention I was single? <3
