What got you into cosplay?
It started with some online friends who were a part of the hobby. Always being the Halloweeny creative type, I was instantly hooked. I found cosplay to be a great way to show a love for a character/series/artwork, and an even better way to get the courage to meet new people. I've met so many people through this hobby and now I can't miss an opportunity to wear a costume, I feel like a dull dud if I don't.
What was your first costume and why?
TECHNICALLY, I was an Eevee in the 5th grade, but obviously that wasn't anythin' I took seriously. Yuffie from FFVII and Sora from Kingdom Hearts are what I consider to be my first two. Yuffie was always a character people had connected me with, and well.. I loved Sora. It also helped that I was KH-obsessed, and about his age/proportions at the time <3 Too bad Yuffie was a hunk of junk I'm ashamed to call a costume, and I still have not a single good photo of Sora...
What is your favorite costume and why?
I have favorite things about most my costumes. Sakura and Heather are my current favorites, because they're comfortable, recognizable and fun to wear. Bridget is inching up there, too... oh it's so hard to decide ; ;
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Lenneth Valkyrie (Valkyrie Profile) complete with a sword or even a Nibelung spear, and... and wings, even! Also, I'd really like to do a creature costume someday.. a summon or a Persona, maybe..?
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
At my very first con back in '03, My Yuffie costume fell apart the second I stepped into the hotel! D'oh, it was probably the most stressful experience of my life, and I know someday I'll look back and laugh, but right now whenever I think about it, I'm so embarassed I wanna cry!
Do you participate in masquerades?
I have a terrible fright of being on stage and of crowds ; ;
What was your best masquerade experience?
I've only had one experience onstage: NDK '05, my Tales of Symphonia group was the first to step on stage. I didn't even have any lines, but I was so nervous, I even forgot to turn around and show off my costume!
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm the fourth of five kids - I have two older brothers, an older sister, and a younger sister.
I'm into lots of different things. My main focus is my art (character design in particular is my forte, I'm currently working on some projects...), video games, music, fashion, mythology, ninjutsu, some anime sprinkled in, and, of course, cosplay. I also love cheesecake, comforters, vespas, retro urban things, and tall attractive men XB!
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
This is my second cosplay.com name. I was previously "M00gle", but that name was no longer desirable to me so I'm gradually moving everything over to this account. Also, everything over there is way old, so it's a costume graveyard of sorts. sorry about that X3;;
