What got you into cosplay?
After going to Akon for so long and seeing other cosplayers I decided that I needed to try something different so I tried it at Akon 17.
What was your first costume and why?
Arrancar Aizen Sousuke. I decided that I looked enough like him to avoid wigs or makeup.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Grimmjaw. It required the most effort to make and put on but it was worth it. I don't know how many people went, "GRIMMJAW!!!"
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Hmmm a dream cosplay? Well I'd really like to make the Berserker armor from Berserk. It would be very expensive and detailed but I'd love to make it
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Dressing as Hidan of Akatsuki and having tons of people scream, "ITACHI!!!" It irritated me quite a bit until a cute girl ran towards me with a glomp screaming, "ITACHI!!!" My eye twitched, my arms went into the air and I yelled, "THATS RIGHT!! COME TO ITACHI!!" To this day I still remember that moment with great fondness. I had been upset the entire day because only a handful of people recognized who I was. So who ever that girl was *hugs* thanks Also I suppose second place would be particiapting in the Izumi-con 07 masq. Our group just randomly formed and them bam we were on stage as akatsuki members doing the YMCA XDDD
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yes. I have participated in two smaller ones to date. Im planning my third for ALA 09 as I type this.
What was your best masquerade experience?
Like I said above. My fav so far has to be the Akatsuki YMCA
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Nope. Not really in it for awards.
Tell us a little about yourself
Graduate with A.A.S in Digital Design. I do martial arts and draw in my free time. Try to learn new things like playing instruments. Im currently attempting to make short films and commercials to get my feet wet in the industry
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
Hmmmm, Im a HHUUUUUUUGGGEEE movie buff. I love watching movies! I love the process of creating them even more! I wish I could find others just as enthused as I am about the process.
