What got you into cosplay?
It all started out as a joke at anime boston 2003. I dressed up as Duo maxwell to make my friend laugh and after he was my favorite character. oh if I KNEW then what I KNOW now. But probably what got me deeper into it was the fans, for instance a girl who became a friend of mine after the con had a sign on her back that said "if found please return to duo maxwell" and she was returned to me, as well as a few other girls at the con. and oh boy, I LOVE the girls! its the jail bait i'm worried about...
What was your first costume and why?
Duo Maxwell, because he has sex appeal, he's stylish, very unique and I didn't have to change my hair at all. The style of the costume was made up of things I already had in my closet.
What is your favorite costume and why?
I would say my Judy Winchester crossplay is my favorite.. even though I'm horribly allergic to it. I have sensitive skin and the metallic-ness of the glitter irritates it. I worn it in the Adult Dating Game at Anime Boston 2007 and when I got back to the hotel room to change.. my skin was all red and blotchy. Quite painful actually... but in "my husband's" circle I am permanently labeled Judy or "the sexy wife". It definitly is quite awesome and amusing at the same time... it does have its advantages and disadvantages. and I love when I'm recognized, a small group of girls at the Maki Murakami signing at Otakon 2007 recognized me and were like "Judy, we love you, we've seen all your movies!" so I was like, "oh wonderful, are you going to see my new movie, its called 'The manager'!" the giggled because they actually GOT it. If you only seen it and haven't read Gravitation, you have no idea who I'm talking about. Its K-san's sexy wife who's a huge Hollywood movie star.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Actually I'm suppose to start on a dream cosplay pair for next year's cosplay season; Arago and Ryo (in the White Armor) from Yorodian Samurai Troopers. These things are going to be massive.
I would like to have a group cosplay as Miaka and the Suzaku seven; I wanna be Noriko. But I also dream to have the entire cast of Chrono Cross at some point (yes, all 40 playable characters); I'll be Slash of course. Other than that... I'd like to do an ASK cosplay from Gravitation because they're so underdone. I prefer doing under done characters these days. Oh, and I'd like to do a cardcaptors cosplay with all of the human shaped clowcards holding props or plushies of the non humanshaped cards. that'd be fun. Also I'm eventually going to get working on my Yue cosplay with a full lion sized Kero plushie, wings and all.. he'll be on two pair's of Sakura's roller skates for me to pull him around.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Meeting the American voice actor of Duo Maxwell, Mr. Scott McNeil, while I was dressed as Duo at my very first anime convention Anime Boston 2003! It was amazing, he's a really cool guy.
Recently my other most memorable experience was meeting Maki Murakami at Otakon 2007, and we were in our Gravitation group cosplay. Judy, K, Ark and Reiji!
Do you participate in masquerades?
Oh yes, I love masquerades! Haven't done one in a year or so though. I need another competition cosplay first.
What was your best masquerade experience?
The "I am Duo Maxwell" skit in the masquerade at KameCon 2004. My sister was Trowa who was being forced to decide who was the real Duo Maxwell. Kaos insued as myself and two other Duos faught it out proclaiming to be the real one. We all had decent braids which was the first arguement, then it came to scythes. The other girl was like, "I have a scythe!" then I was like, "well mine's bigger" and then she was "Its not the size, its what you do with it!" Then the guy said, "Yeah, well I'm the right gender." So I went, "Yeah well I'm both genders!" they both took a step back. "I'm Duo Maxwell!" "No, I'm Duo" "No I am!" Then I pointed at Trowa and was like "Pick me or you die." while trowa was trying to sneak off stage. Then broke into a run as we chased her off all screaming, "I'm Duo pick me!"
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Yes, I won a Judge's Award as Zelgadis Graywords in the Anime Boston 2006 Masquerade.
I won a blue ribbon the the hall cosplay contest at Another Anime Con 2006.
Tell us a little about yourself
I have a large family, I graduated High school last June and I have many friends. I work full time at Six Flags America and I run a small cosplay/costume company with some of my friends called Somethin' Spiffy. My favorite hobbies include drawing, costume making, acting, singing, playing guitar, playing piano/keyboard, composing original lyrics (some times with background music), studying languages and writing (original stories, fanfiction and articles for various things). I'm a natural geek in a way because I enjoy studying history in general the Renaissance/medieval times including medieval torture always fascinated me, as well as Ancient Greece including Greek medicine (Hypocrates was the man) and other lost civilizations like the Mayans & Incas and Ancient Egypt. I also enjoy swimming, hanging around with friends, being shot at, karate, modeling, shooting at my disobedient minions, dancing (either in clubs or when no one is watching though I enjoy ballet on occasion), cosplaying (duh!) and plaguing the world with my ruddy fanfiction. I'm also a writer.. I've been working on two or more books as of late.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I hope to be a Voice Actor some day, even if it isn't for anime. I just love acting so much and would love to do the voices of cartoons and anime some day if I can.

Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, Of Mice and Men, and The Crucible are some of my favorites, I LOVE reading so if you know any I should read please PM me and tell me about it! I love manga books too; Gravitation, Cross, Magic Knight rayearth and Eerie Queerie (ghost) to name a few. I'm very particular on what manga I read, when i was younger I did enjoy reading KareKano but I out grew it and lost interest as I began to relate less to the characters. I do like love stories but prefer yaoi/yuri to hetero. I also love fantasy and anything by clamp or maki murakami. I'm also getting into Tesuka's work.
