About Me / Q&A

What got you into cosplay?
I owe it all to [ayareinami*yay*], [lulubird], & [iheartanime]! At first, I'd go to cons and just dress up as whatever because my three best friends went. I thought it was fun yes, but I only went because they did. Well I started getting into it more and more & with the help of the three friends I listed above, I BECAME COSPLAY OBSESSED. :] They made all my costumes in the beginning, and I'd contribute as much as I could here and there. Anything I've learned skill wise (aside from my own experimentation) has been thanks to them.
What was your first costume and why?
PenPen, because Asuka and Misato were taken. And because I LOVE PENPEN. And because pervy penguins rule. 'Nuff said.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Maria from Silent Hill 2. I spent an ungodly amount of time working on such a "simple" costume, but in the end I am really pleased with the results. I hate how short I made the skirt, and that the belt chain ended up being a bit big, but I can honestly say that everything else went as I planned after a few bumps in the road.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Meeting new people, I've made some great friends via conventions.
What was your best masquerade experience?
EVANGELION.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Sorta, I won a judges award for our KH1 Traverse Town skit and we've won some group skit awards. I can't take credit for them though because my buddies made my costumes and composed the skits.
My favorite game(s)
Silent Hill, Silent Hill 2, Silent Hill 3, Silent Hill 4, Silent Hill: Homecoming, Silent Hill Origins (FAVORITE GAME EVER), Silent Hill Shattered Memories, FF:IX, FF:XII (that game is ridiculously underrated), Chrono Trigger, Kingdom Hearts 1, Kingdom Hearts:CoM, Kingdom Hearts 2, Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep, Angry Birds, Dark Cloud II, Eternal Darkness, every Katamari game ever made
