What got you into cosplay?
My friend, LadyJade. The outfits were so cool and it looked like so much fun!
What was your first costume and why?
Great Saiyaman, for Dress-Like-Your-Favorite-Character Day at my high school. I was into DBZ at the time, so I ghetto cosplayed ^^
What is your favorite costume and why?
Probably Viral or Touya. Both of them turned out as close to perfect as I could get. Plus Touya's really comfy.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
A Rick-dom II from Mobile Suit Gundam or Scarmiglione from Final Fantasy IV.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
At Acen 2008, we had epic G Gundam shenanigans XD We had three Ginyu Force-esque poses that we could strike on cue. It was so awesome and I hope we can do that again.
Or on the way to Acen Aftermath 2007, when a random business man told me I was an awesome Iori. Seriously, the guy made my day.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Sometimes. It's pretty fun being on stage. :3
What was your best masquerade experience?
Geek.kon 2008. The Masquerade was one of the smoothest running ones I've been to and we won Best Performance.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Best in Show at Pokettokon 2008 for Suigintou from Rozen Maiden.
Best Performance at Geek.kon 2008 for our Soul Eater group.
The "Way Too Pretty" Award at Anime Punch 2009 for Euphemia li Brittania and C.C (LadyJade) from Code Geass.
Placed in the Top 5 for the ACP Gundam 00 Cosplay Contest for Tieria Erde (Celestial Being uniform version) from Mobile Suit Gundam 00.
Best in Expert Class at Geek.kon 2009 for our Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann group.
Tell us a little about yourself
I love making props! Especially props that resemble bones. Those are the best! I also love to do face painting.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I love drawing, watching anime, and building Gundam models in my spare time.
