What got you into cosplay?
A friend invited me to Animazement...I had such a blast at AZ that year, and I just loved cosplaying and meeting people who love your character and see other cosplayers...it's just all a blast!

What was your first costume and why?
Leon from Kingdom Hearts, better known as Squall from Final Fantasy VIII. FF8 is one of my favorite games ever, and Squall is one of the coolest characters ever. He reminds me a bit of myself with his attitude, and I just love everything about him. I'm going to do a much better version of him in a coming year...

What is your favorite costume and why?
Dark Link. I got to do evil things all weekend and blame it on being in character. Bwahaha!
Also, it's my best cosplay and the most well received, and it made me feel really good to have so many fans. ^_^

Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I've got to many to list. My fav characters are Squall and Shikamaru, so I'd really like to redo those but put some SERIOUS time into them.
Other than that, I'd like to do: Itachi (Naruto), Beyond the Grave (Gungrave), Vincent (FF7), Zack (FF7), Abel Nightroad (Trinity Blood), Amon (Witch Hunter Robin), Uryu Ishida (Bleach), Byakuya Kuchiki (Bleach), Light (Death Note)...

What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Definitly from Animazement 2006. Playing 10-player Bomberman on a projector screen. That's good times.
Other top ones include: the crowd drawn by the Dark Link vs. Good Link battle, hearing applause for my AMV, glompage, and watching a group of people make a Katamari/trash ball, mount it on a car, and drive it around the con.

No...I pretty much suck.... :(

I'm an NCSU student working towards a Master's degree in Computer Science. I hope to go into game design. I currently work as both a Web Designer and a Video Game Journalist.
