What got you into cosplay?
I went to AFO 2005 and I wanted to dress up, too! I love Halloween, so why not have something even better, minus the candy, more than once a year? I love it.
What was your first costume and why?
Well, I've been mostly putting together random Kimono pieces that I buy, but I actually finished my Vampire Hunter D costume before my others, so it's my first official cosplay.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Ariel =) Everyone really appreciates that I sacrificed walking ability for accuracy and so many people tell me I look just like Ariel. It's really flattering ^^
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
My dream costume would have to be...hmmmm...the movie version of X-men's Mystique and the original comic-book version of Starfire (Teen Titans). If I ever have the body to do those two, then I will, lawl.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Probably MetroCon: Amano's World, when I met Amano-sama and he drew a picture of me in my D costume. That was pretty awesome ^___^
Do you participate in masquerades?
I did once, I was pretty nervous. Then I tried again for Jacon '08, but it was unplanned (mom forced me, she's evil like that). Didn't win anything but I didn't expect to, and I didn't flip over on my rock on stage so I'd call it a success!!! =)
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Nope, not yet. But we'll see what the future holds!
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm currently homeschooled. I enjoy Martial Arts, the Japanese culture, and of course, anime. I love to dance ^^
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I have two loving but demonic cats, a dog, two birds and an Octopus.
