What got you into cosplay?
I have always wanted to venture into far off worlds or become something beyond myself in a realm of infinate posabilities. All I really needed was a nudge out the door. I was once a loner because I didn't know anyone personally who shared the magic and wonder that I did in real life until one day I went to a costume party of someone I met on the internet who shared the same interests. My life has been in a word, "Magical," since then.
What was your first costume and why?
My first cosplay costume I would have to say was Haldir, he was an Elf in The Lord of The Rings, and I wore it at ORC (the frist held One Ring Convention) january of `05 I believe.
What is your favorite costume and why?
At the moment, I would have to say that My Anakin Skywalker Outfit from Star Wars E-3 is my favorite. It was very well done, and I feel very powerful wearing it. muahaha...
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
wow.. I have a couple, when I really think about it, I will list them later on, so keep a look out if you are really interested!
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
My most memorable experience was at the One Ring Convention, the first convention I went to with my new found friends. I couldn't believe that the world I so longed for actually existed. What made it so awesome was that the Elf outfit I wore was so amazing that it was said that I was the talk of the convention. It did help that I really looked like I came out of the movie as an Elf. There were two moments I especially remember. The first one, I was sitting in a chair on an outside isle and this little girls ( she looked about 4) stopped and staired at me. She was actually scared and excited. She wanted to meet me cuz she thought I was a real Elf, so I got out of my chair and went over and sat down next to her and talked with her for a moment. she was really cute, and really shy I should ad. The second moment, there was a private party for the conventioneers and I was walking by this table and a mid-aged woman sitting there stopped me. She then pulled out a piece of newspaper she cut out, and it happened to be a large picture of me in costume from just the other day. It was published just above an article of the convention itself. It was the second page! I was like SWEET!! I even actually remember the photographer who took the picture from out the corner of my eye just before he asked for my name... I never actually took thought that it would have been used. but the fact that someone else had a copy.. and then she was nice enough to give it to me, cuz she had another one.. lol
Do you participate in masquerades?
I have not participated in a Masquerade yet.. I hope to get my sewing machines fixed, learn to sew, and eventually yes in the future!
Tell us a little about yourself
Well my real name is Sean, I was born Jan, of `85. I have spent most of my life doing either of three main things, traveling to the river and going boating, playing soccer which I love very much, and creating things on computers, and/or drawing. I love creating things whether it is on paper, or it's digital, or simply a construct of paper clips exe.. costumes even. I have two major problems. I am obssessed with video games, and collecting random, cool unique, things.. thengs from Star Wars figures, to Anime figures, to egyptian, Dragons, Weapons- swords/daggers. I am currently going to a technical college, majoring in Animation and multimedia for a B.S. I hope to eventually go to The Los Angeles Film School for a year when I got out, and when I am done with that, I hope to go to USC for a masters in Film! and I have talked to all of the schools, but all I can do is hope, and keep my grades as good as they are! I am also un-employed, but I am in the process of starting my own business called, "FireFrost Digital Inc." which will range from a large variety of things I can do for people and businesses, and I am very confident that it will make me some profit at least, because people are already asking me when I will be started so they can do business with me. I am really happy about that.. I also participate in Martial arts. I started it because I wanted to learn the craft so I could put it on my resumee for acting abilities, but I really began to enjoy it XD for now I think that is all, because if you have read this far, I have come to think two things about you. 1) you have absolutely no life... LIKE ME!! or 2) you are stalking me.
