What got you into cosplay?
Thought it would be fun to wear a costume at a convention. I was instantly hooked by the cameras and the friends I was making.
What was your first costume and why?
Sailor Moon. Before I got into anime I was a competitive figure skater and used to design and have skating dresses made all the time. Sailor Moon's outfit was similar to a skating dress so it was a good starting point for me.
What is your favorite costume and why?
My red battle Dawn costume is my proudest creation at this time. I pushed myself really hard to make that one.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Lots of them, and I intend to make them a reality. ^_^
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
AWA 3 when I cosplayed Lum for the first time.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I no longer compete at anime cons, unless it is just to have a small part in a skit to help someone out. I have judged a few anime con masquerades. I might be seen competing at larger, non-anime cons.
What was your best masquerade experience?
I think I enjoy the masquerade more when I am judging rather than competing.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
A few but I don't compete much.
Tell us a little about yourself
Aside from cosplay I volunteer with an animal rescue group and foster dogs and cats from local animal shelters as well as work adoptions on weekends. I also hang out in Atlanta a lot with friends and perform in Rocky Horror. I also model.
