What got you into cosplay?
My sister wore a ghetto Luna (as in, made in two hours the night before) to Akon 1999 and had a ton of fun. I was jealous so I wanted to try it myself.
What was your first costume and why?
Viki from Suikoden 2. Errr... I don't actually remember exactly why I chose her. How appropriate.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Female priest from Ragnarok Online. I literally wore that costume to death because it was simple to make and simple to wear. Also I get a sick pleasure out of denying heals, warps, and zeny to all the beggars.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Queen Brahne from FF9. Yep.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
The wall of photographers at Katsucon 2002, when my roommate and I debuted our Punch & Judy (Big Shots) costumes from Cowboy Bebop. I was not expecting a reaction like that. The entire hallway was completely blocked and security attacked us. It was insane.
Do you participate in masquerades?
No, I think competitive cosplay is silly. Dress up for yourself, and for fun.
What was your best masquerade experience?
My only real masquerade experience was waltzing across the AX02 stage as Clara with the main Skies of Arcadia theme playing. I'm sure the two people in the crowd there who recognized me really appreciated it.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
First place hall costuming at Nekocon 2002 for Clara. I have no intentions to ever enter any sort of contest again.
