What got you into cosplay?
My friends were doing it. And it seemed better than drugs.
What was your first costume and why?
I'd say Shampoo since she's what I wore to my first Anime Expo, but actually I used to dress up as Rydia when I was a little kid. I had a bright emerald-green sweater of my mom's that fit me as a tight dress, and a green cape that my mom made for me.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Midna. 'Cuz it's new.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Lin from Dragon Quarter
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
The response I got from Disgaea fans when I dressed as Etna is unmatched. Seems like I just picked the right character at the right time.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Not yet.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
I don't compete.
Tell us a little about yourself
I graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a BA in Anthropology. I'm currently working as a Special Ed. Aide and job hunting. I live with my boyfriend in Anaheim.
My favorite anime
At one time I was completely obsessed with anime, but no more. Now I'm really just a gamer. But I will watch something if it's cool. I wouldn't mind re-watching Cowboy Bebop, Utena, Evangelion, Tenchi, and probably others that I can't think of right now.

Dragon Quarter, Tactics Ogre, Xenogears, Ocarina of Time, Final Fantasies IV and VI, Chrono Trigger, Suikodens I and II, and many more.
