What got you into cosplay?
My friends and I were headed to a rummage sale and found enough fabric to make a namine and aerith costume from Kingdom Hearts 2. We decided it would be a fun idea to go to Ohayocon 7 as characters from KH2.
What was your first costume and why?
It will be Namine, because I have blonde hair, and my sister is going as Kairi. My friend is still getting around to helping me with the dress (can't sew...) but I have the shoes already (just need the flowers)...
Oh, and when I was younger and only knew of Pokemon, Sailor Moon, and DBZ...I dressed up as a member of Team Rocket for Halloween...it was a horrible costume...but it was still fun...
What is your favorite costume and why?
So far, Namine. I really enjoyed it, especially being with my friends. I liked doing Ren, but I will probably enjoy it more once I fix the minor problems with it...
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
The Barrel with Wind Waker Link underneath. I think it'll be fun...especially in the middle of the convention...
Also, anything from Tsubasa Chronicles...
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
(After Colossalcon) Going through our amazing skit without messing up horribly and watching as the crowd gave us a loud and large standing ovation...followed by winning Best In Show. The excitement from that night lasted a long time...

(After Ohayocon) Walking around the convention with a big group getting complimented on our skit. ^_^ I really liked the convention because of it.

What was your best masquerade experience?
That standing ovation...it was well worth everything from that whole week of practice...
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Not for my costume, but we won "Honourable Mention" in the masquerade skit area at Ohayocon 2007. And also "Best In Show" at Colossalcon 2007, for all of our costumes and our skit!

I go to BGSU, and I do a wide variety of things without excelling in any one area. I'm a theatre major and a sophomore (at the moment).
