What got you into cosplay?
Going to a convention for the first time, I really wanted to dress up like everyone else.
What was your first costume and why?
Sakura Kinomoto was my first costume officially, however that was commissioned. The first costume I actually sewed together was Keybearer Mulan :D
What is your favorite costume and why?
Princess Serenity, I guess because its one of the simpler ones to get in and out of, theres no constant "costume checks" I mean the wig is the biggest pain, but its not too terrible after a while.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
... Hmmm I guess something with many many sequins, beads, painting craziness!
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Definitely getting mobbed at Comiccon 07. I was dressed up as Princess Sailor Moon and my friend was Sora, and we just got MOBBED wherever we went! We would pose and just be posing for like five minutes straight, it was like we were celebrities on the red carpet or something!
Do you participate in masquerades?
I wish I had the confidence, but I am very shy around big audiences. Though I am loud and obnoxious with my friends. Although I did provide voice work for one of my friends. :D
Tell us a little about yourself
I currently attend SJSU trying to get into the Animation/Illustration Department. I love to draw, design insane costumes that defy physics, write insane stories, and SLEEP. I have a mom, a dad, a brother, a dog, a cat, a step-dad, a step-mom, and five step brothers...All of my brothers(including the step brothers) are older then me. BECAUSE SOME ONE IS LAUGHING AT ME.
