I'm a twenty-four year old eclectic geek originally from quasi-coastal North Carolina now residing in the DC area. I sell people insurance for their cars and homes and occasionally do that life & health thing, as well. Not the most glamourous job out there but it's lucrative and as I say, I work so I can fund the things I do when I'm not working. I'm also a bit of an armchair archaeologist, history & theology nerd, and rant a lot about our government's mid-east board of advisers.

I technically got into cosplay in 2004 though I had been making costumes and cosplaying in a sense since I was a child. I suppose a part of me never got over that inane desire as a child to be an actor so I sate whatever is left of that by dressing up as fictional characters for a weekend every couple of months.

I have two cats as children. Gin, a seven year old Bengal with no soul who I affectionately call 'Satan' from time to time and Charlemagne, a year old flame point Siamese who is the living incarnation of longcat. I also might be in a relationship with that douche Photo Ninja or so the rumour goes.

On weirder notes, I'm allergic to garlic and have a strangely high tolerance for alcohol for my weight and size, we'll blame the genetic background of Irish & Eastern European on that. Oh and I want to be Vesper Lynd when I grow up, yanno minus that whole drowning part.
