What got you into cosplay?
I always wanted to do it, but I thought it would always be a distant dream. When I got into high school and met people who did it, they dragged me in!
What was your first costume and why?
Vincent Valentine from FF7. It didn't have any major detailing on it at all, but I did it because I had 3 days before A-Kon 16 and I knew that Halloween town Sora was NOT going to happen in that much time.
What is your favorite costume and why?
I love all my costumes, but I think my favorite right now is my Organization 13 coat from KH2. It's gotten me my fame ;o;
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Link from Legend of Zelda, or even... Utena Tenjou from Revolutionary Girl Utena!
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
I loved going as Axel to a Kingdom Hearts/Disney slumber party and getting to sing my personal favorite Disney song-- "Won't Say I'm In Love"-- in character, and getting picked up by Xemnas with a standing ovation. There was so much love wearing that costume.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I'll do ANYTHING! I love a good time.
What was your best masquerade experience?
Narcissa Malfoy-- being in character in the Great Snape Debate.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Narcissa Malfoy got me best female costume at the event I was at, but otherwise no :<
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm a senior in high school graduating in 08', and doing fantastic. I'm an artist as well as a cosplayer, and so I have the hugest blast when I go to cons. I love theatre too but can't be bothered to memorize lines, so it's just my dream. :] My family's very supportive and I'm learning from my mom, who's an amazing seamstress. I'm so lucky to have the friends and family I do.
