What got you into cosplay?
Some kids in the anime club I was in in high school told me you can go to conventions and dress up in costumes. I knew absolutely nothing about cosplay or conventions. At my first con, I got a fleyer for another con, and It just went down hill from there.
What was your first costume and why?
Sailor Pluto. She was the only Sailor scout with a tan.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Urd from Ah! My Goddess.
Because it's not as painful to wear as the others(although the shoes are starting to bother me). And it doesn't have any bulky easy to break parts to it...
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Soooo many...and yet so little time.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
All embarassing. 1st con, I fell down a flight of stairs at the masqurade!
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yes! I am currently retired from competitions though. Just giving my friends (and myself) a break from all the stress.
What was your best masquerade experience?
Won best in show for a skit about Gloomy Bear mauling a group of school kids! None of my group members got a chance to practice together or hear the music it was set to, I just had to explain and sing the song changes to everyone individually. On stage, everything came together as planned and we won!!
