What got you into cosplay?
My friend Ashly wanted to do Kenshin and Kaoru costumes, so she introduced me to this site. I also had been wearing costumes from animes and books since high school, for Halloween and various book events, like the HP book releases.
What was your first costume and why?
Technically, a really Ghetto Washu. Originally, I had wanted to do Sailor Moon for Halloween, and then I got into Tenchi. So I took what I had out of my closet, and hand sewed details onto the shirt and shorts, and I mae a little belt and a purple hair wrap, and colored my hair pink and poofed it up. That was my first costume.
Eventually, I'd like to do a REAL Washu costume, lol.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Currently...It's anything One Piece. One Piece is my fandom at the moment.
I'm very excited to be working on an Eneru cosplay for our Skypeia group, to be debuted at Oni-Con in Houston this November!
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?

What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Being all painted up blue at various conventions and trying to explain to people...that I'm not a Smurf. Dagnabbit.
Do you participate in masquerades?
No. I feel they are often ran badly, or by corrupt people, and the judging tends to be biased. Plus, I like to stay away from the divas. If I ever participate in masquerades, I do it just so my friends and I can have a good time and hopefully make some people laugh.
What was your best masquerade experience?
I haven't really had a good masquerade experience, to be honest.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Yes, a few.
Tell us a little about yourself
Currently in the process of moving to Dallas, where I hope to start a new chapter in my life with my lovely girlfriend, finally obtain a steady job, rent a house, and live happily.
