What got you into cosplay?
I've always loved dressing up in costumes, so the desire to cosplay came easily- though it didn't seriously spark until I started going to and being involved with anime conventions.
What was your first costume and why?
Girl-type Ranma for Halloween.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Kyuzo! I wanted to cosplay (ok, crossplay) him for years, and it was my first real cosplay.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I just finished making one dream costume (Kyuzo), and my next is Caska- in both her armor and her ball gown. Ball gown first.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Sakura-Con in my Kyuzo costume. It was my first real cosplay at a convention. I had a lot of fun wearing it (even if it IS damn hot... thank god it was cold out), and I'll admit I really liked hearing the compliments. ^_^
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yes, I'm just starting out.
What was your best masquerade experience?
Hehe, there's only been one so far. Some frustration with waiting around for ages (I mean, hours more than what was scheduled) but I had fun meeting new people and comparing costume notes. :D
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Massive praise and more commission requests. :)
