What got you into cosplay?
I always wanted to. When I was younger my friend and I dressed like DBZ characters and fought it out. :)
What was your first costume and why?
My first real costume was Edward Elric. I love the character, he has a ton of emotional baggage (not unlike myself.) but he overcomes.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Kenshin, he is my idea of everything good, heroic and what I wish I was.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I wanna be Domon Kasshu and have someone else be the Stalker (narrator from G Gundam) and follow me around.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
At the contest at No Brand 2006, the line was sorta boring. The contestants walked up, said a quote, maybe did a pose. So I ran up, jumped on stage and started posing when my name was called. I was one excited Ed:) But then someone in the audience shouted "Look at how short he is!" I didn't plan it, but when I heard it I didn't miss a beat. "Who did you just call short!? I'll give you short, I'll turn you all into fish! Quit jerking me around!
Do you participate in masquerades?
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Yes, for my new, Movie Version Edward Elric, complete with Automail. It caused quite a stir at NoBrand Con 2007
