What got you into cosplay?
The ability to, at least visually, be the character for a short period of time and have other people recognize you as that character.
What was your first costume and why?
Sanosuke Sagara from Rurouni Kenshin. I chose him because Kenshin is my favorite show and I love the look and uniqueness of Sano's costume.
What is your favorite costume and why?
So far they are all my favorites. If I had to choose I would pick Tamahome because very few guys have ever done him and I felt like I pulled it off fairly well.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I would love to do the concept art costume for Locke from Final Fantasy VI
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Being in the game room at Otakon 2005 and having a girl scream, sprint, then dive on me from about 40 feet away, nearly knocking me down.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Not yet, though I would like to.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
I would sure like to, but I don't feel I'm at the level to compete yet.
Tell us a little about yourself
I am in my freshman year at the University of Rochester and am majoring in Business and Computer Science. I love to ski and play tennis as well as play videogames and D&D with my friends.
