I frequent Fanime, and most of the Sac-Cons. I will try to go to Tekkoshocon eventually (I DO go to school in Pittsburgh). XD

And I love SqueEnix cosplay! MY FAVORITE!!!!!!! =D

What got you into cosplay?
I fell in love with Kingdom Hearts and decided to cosplay Kairi for Halloween in 2006. I ended up going to AOD 2006 because I finished my costume in July. In the fall of 2006 I met some awesome girlies who got me into anime, and its been a love affair with cosplay ever since. XD
What was your first costume and why?
Kairi- I adore Kingdom Hearts, and I cried after the ending of the first game. Kairi is cute but at the same time very faithful to her friends and she wants to take charge. I thought I could convey that...
What is your favorite costume and why?
my favorite costume is my Sora costume, I love how it turned out. Unfortunately I need to remake it because a lot of pieces broke after falling down a few times in cosplay :(. I know that Sora is the ultimate dork but I just love him too much! ^_^ My new favorite is probably going to be Lenne from X-2. I love her story, and I think I look a lot like her.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I want to finish a Summoner Yuna costume...it seems so intricate and I don't know how I will do it, but i WILL!!!! maybe for Fanime 2009...I will work on it!
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Well, Fanime 2007 in general... it was my first "large" con experience...and it ROCKED!!! And definitely part of that: Performing "Riku's Journey to Candy Mountain" at Fanime 2007!!!!! Me and my friends didn't win any awards, but the crowd LOVED us, and we have gotten so much good feedback!!! ITS AWESOME!!!
Do you participate in masquerades?
YES!!!
What was your best masquerade experience?
Definitely....once again... "Riku's Journey to Candy Mountain"!!!!
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Yes...but mostly for the ingenious skits.... Best Presentation with my Kairi costume. (Sac-Con Dec. '06) Judges' Award with my Sora and Olette costumes, and Organization XIII coat. (All three were in the skit) (Sac-Con March '07) Most Original with my Sora costume (Sac-Con...sometime in '07)
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm a Christian cosplayer baby! woot! I'm a Freshman at the nerdiest school in the nation (CMU!!), I have an awesome family, a "adopted" family, I don't have a job currently, I am a music minor and an architecture major, i love playing clarinet, I am in Kiltie Band (yes, our marching band wears KILTS!), I love playing video games in my sparse spare time, and I love sewing. I also am a huge human rights activist....I am pro-life, anti-death penalty. AND...I LOVE MY FRIENDS!!! THEY ARE THE BEST!
