What got you into cosplay?
Flying monkies.
Or video games. Whichever makes more sense to you guys. Well, in all seriousness, of course it was the whole anime thing. And...I can't exactly remember what brought us into it. Me and my friend just wanted to do it, and by the gods, we did it!
What was your first costume and why?
Vexen from Kingdom Hearts. I just thought he was pretty hot. The whole mad scientist thing was just too cool anyways, and the black leather is a cosplay classic. Well, black vinyl. That was hard enough to work with in the first place, just imagine leather!
What is your favorite costume and why?
Sparda. <3 No body can resist the Papa Sparda.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Right now, my dream costume is Rod from FFVII: Before Crisis.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
California Pizza Kitchen, Anime EXPO 07, I was cosplaying Sparda. After 45 minutes in that damn line outside of the restaurant, we finally get in... and I was at the table with Hojo and the rest of our group, and trying to steal Hojo's vials of mako, and we were batting hands at eachother... and PING! My monocle falls into my glass of pink lemonade. We couldn't stop laughing for ages after wards.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yes, I do! I have taken part in three as of now.
What was your best masquerade experience?
Falling dead to the ground after a 'Fatherly Dance Off' with my Uke, who was cosplaying Hojo, at Anime Los Angeles 3.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Actually, as a group, Me (I was Loz at this point), my Kadaj and Yazoo, and our Tifa, all won for the Best, or runner up, for the Intermediate Crafting Catagory. I'm pretty sure it was best... >>; And then Anime LA 3 I got the Hall Cosplay Award ribbon for Sparda.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?

Note to self, Sept 30, Location: Lancaster: Hell. Hair cement makes my entire head an odd smelling helmet like noggin.
Note to self, January 27, Location: Van Nueys: Hair cement is the best method for keeping a monocle on your eye.
Note to Self, Sometime in March, Location: Laguna Niguel State Park: AIR CONDITIONING NECESSARY FOR COSPLAYS INVOLVING FULL BODY LEATHER.
Note to Self, Anime Los Angeles 4:
Photos of Sparda may be sexy in the rain. But he'll also catch a cold.
