What got you into cosplay?
My friends went as Bleach captains to MTAC '06. I was the only one who didn't cosplay.
What was your first costume and why?
Ukitake was my frist costume. As I said, my friends we bleach captains, plus, I already have the hair length (sadly, not the color, though), and kind of look like him, so it was a no brainer on which captain to be.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Shunsui, 'cause I've had more people come up and compliment me. It's really quite nice to hear, because the effort put into it is noticed, and that's great.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I'd like to be able to Abel Nightroad from Trinity Blood... that would seriously rock.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Having people yell out, "Ukitake-taichou!" when they see me.
Do you participate in masquerades?
not really, but then again, haven't had much time to do so.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
One. I was Ukitake, ironically enough taking a nap 'cause I wasn't feeling well, and still won 1st runner up in the intermediate cosplay competition at EMS '06.
Tell us a little about yourself
Junior at the University of Alabama. I really enjoy playing the trombone. I like anime a pretty good bit, obviously. And, while it's sometimes a struggle, following God is what I try to keep at number one on the priority list.

My favorite character(s)
Ukitake and Shunsui. They're the coolest captains from Bleach, no competition. I do also like Abel Nightroad a good bit.
