What got you into cosplay?
A friend of mine convinced me to try making a costume for the first anime convention I'd ever attended--Anime North 2001. I've been addicted ever since.
What was your first costume and why?
The first costume I'll *admit* to is Sakura's cheerleader uniform from Card Captor Sakura. It was a lot of fun to play a magical girl and it matched my energetic mood at my very first anime convention. (Now I'm old and bitter and jaded, ahahaha.)
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
No one dream costume, just a really, really long want-to-make list.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
There have been so many I can't choose! I always seem to have a lot of fun cosplaying and it's a great way to meet new people.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yes, I do.
What was your best masquerade experience?
I've had a lot of really fun masquerade experiences, so again it's hard to choose.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Yes.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
I've made a lot more costumes than will ever be listed here! Many of my older ones will never see the light of day.
