What got you into cosplay?
My very first Acen! I was so oblivious to it, and was amazed. Now I try hard to have really good costumes.
What was your first costume and why?
Linda from Okage, Shadow King. She was easy and my mom made it for me. It was terrible. Either that or it was Selphie from FF VIII, but Circa Kingdom Hearts. I had brown hair that we curled up like hers ... it was also very terrible. I don't count these. They keep me up at night.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Hiei, thus far. I spent so much time on it and it was the costume I wore when I met my boyfriend.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
But I would *love* to cosplay KOS-MOS from Xeno I. Such a badass costume.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Acen 2007, when the Spoony Bards played One Winged Angel and Sephiroth and Cloud battled it out. Then my cosplay friend, dressed as Aeris, challenged Sephiroth after Cloud "died". And then Acen 2009, when a Yoko Kurama cosplayer hit me in the ass with a Yaoi paddle so hard my left cheek bruised for a week.
Do you participate in masquerades?
This year. I am set on it.
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm a sophomore in college. I'm studying hard to get my Associates in Science and then move on to eventually obtain a Doctorate in Entomology. I do HTML, Graphic Design, Cosplaying and I also sing and act on the side. I also love to knit and crochet. I actually enjoy cleaning and doing laundry. I guess that sort of makes me the perfect woman? I'm kind of rough on the outside but once you gain my trust and loyalty I won't let it go for anything. I love to meet new people and take care of them. I live with my mother, stepfather, and brother. Occasionally my stepsister will visit. I have two pet tarantulas, four cats and two dogs. I love my kitty the most.
