What got you into cosplay?
A Halloween contest at school where my friend and I dressed as Peach and Daisy from the Super Mario games. I hand-sewed both dresses. I suppose that was the first time I made a costume based on a character-thus my first cosplay. Since then, I've gotten more into it, both with my love for anime and getting a sewing machine!
What was your first costume and why?
I was Princess Daisy from the Super Mario Bros. games. I loved the design for the dress, plus I got to make Peach's dress for my friend. We went as a pair!
What is your favorite costume and why?
My favorite is yet to be seen, since I haven't done many costumes yet. But I'll let you know. *wink*
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I made 2 big fluffy dresses, so that's done. Now... I want to cosplay everything Lacus Clyne wears. Also Tear Grants... except her bathing suit ^_^
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
I've only had a few, but I loved Halloween of '04. I made costumes for a 5-person Tales of Symphonia group. I was Raine!
Do you participate in masquerades?
No, but I've done Cosplay Chess...
What was your best masquerade experience?
*points to above* At AB2007, I killed Riku in Sudden Death. By singing. That was pretty cool.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
We attended a Halloween party in '04, and entered their costume contest with the Tales of Symphonia costumes I made. We tied for first!
Tell us a little about yourself
I'm in my 4th year of college as a junior, living on campus now. The rest of the year, I live with my mom and 2 younger siblings. I love to sing karaoke to random anime songs! I read a lot too. And I'm trying to learn Japanese...
