What got you into cosplay?
I always loved dressing up for Halloween and so when my school's Anime club had a costume contest, I just decided to dress as an anime character.
What was your first costume and why?
My first time "cosplaying" was as Tora from Ushio & Tora. I chose Tora because I loved the series and his character in particular. I already had a fursuit that was white so I just got orange hairspray and colored it all, adding a few essential details. It had a huge sculpted foam part for the reddish hair. It was cool for something thrown together at the last minute.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Lynx. The costume just turned out great. The reactions I got walking around were wonderful.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I've toyed with making a quadraped Amateseratu costume from Okami soon, complete with rotating sun disk and eventually filish my Lobomon!
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Otakon 2001 was my first convention and my roomate and I won best constructed costume. After almost missing the judging completely, it was such a welcome reprieve.
Do you participate in masquerades?
No, I'm more of a costumer rather than a performer. I just love the creation aspect, I'm not much for participating in skits.

Best Constructed Costume - Otakon 2001, 1st Place Journeyman - Otakon 2002, Judge's Award - Otakon 2003
Tell us a little about yourself
While my job does limit my free time to do costume work, I now work in the domain name industry and so can be a bit flexable with my schedule. When I'm not working on costumes in my free time I enjoy RP'ing, reading, and playing music.
