About Me / Q&A

What got you into cosplay?
When I was in high school, I was in the Anime Club. I was invited along to Anime North, and when I heard I could dress up... well, I couldn't say no to the opportunity.
What was your first costume and why?
Kiki, from Kiki's Delivery Service. It was the only costume that I could think I could do without a wig. I made it with items from the second hand store (a dress, pantaloon-ish pants), and an old karate belt for the bow. The hardest part was finding a witch's broom around May.
What is your favorite costume and why?
The Card Captor Sakura dress I made for my sister. It's the princess outfit from the second movie: The Sealed Card. I spent a lot of time on it, and I lve the way it looks.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Lulu from FFX - with all of the correct belts, headdress, lace, and fur. I've started on this, however I need to re-make most of it as is didn't last at Fan Expo.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Looking through old photos from past conventions, trying to find a picture of a costume. Then, I saw a picture I had taken of my fiance before we were dating, haha. It was before we met each other.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
