What got you into cosplay?
I had really wanted to go to an anime con of any kind, and made a costume because I love to dress up.
What was your first costume and why?
Gaara from Naruto, kind of by accident. I was thinking "who would I look good as?" and was surfing Google for random characters. I was almost Edward Elric, but couldn't get the automail right.
What is your favorite costume and why?
I only have two, and Gaara is the only complete one, so I'd have to say him.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Oo.. something big and shiny. With armor and interlocking parts.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Being dressed as Xigbar from KH2 and pulling a hit and run Surprise Buttsex on a Kenshin cosplayer at Yaoi-Con 06.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yes, I love them.
What was your best masquerade experience?
Only been in one, and that was at JTAF '05 as Gaara, where I danced to "Staying Alive" by the BeeGees.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Won first place for my disco Gaara skit at JTAF.
Tell us a little about yourself
I go to California College of the Arts (CCA) in Oakland, CA as an Illustration major. I'm happilly single, live in the dorms, and draw all the time. I do martial arts, take dance, and act.
