What got you into cosplay?
My friend, Steffie kept talking about cosplay back when we were still getting into anime. She showed me some costumes people did and told me how she was planning to do some one day. The more I got into video games the more I kept wanting to try it...and so here I am!
What was your first costume and why?
My first costume was an spin on Alice--Alice in Yaoi land. I modeled my costume after Disney's Alice and carried around a plushie that was covered in Yaoi pics.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Rasputin. Facial hair for the freakin' win.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Marlene from Boku to Maou Satan/ Okage:Shadow King, or Lady Parvati from SMT: Nocturne, Warrior dressphere Rikku, Persona Hermes, and a female version of Gippal
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Getting recognized for Rasputin. That's all I needed someone to recognize from one of my favorite games of all time--and it was by three people too--total awesomeness, I think I cried a little--which I'm sure must've been funny cause I had a beard on.
Do you participate in masquerades?
Yup yup--Memento Mori represent!
What was your best masquerade experience?
Phoenix Wright Skit: Turnabout Lawyer--First skit and it went pretty good. It had it's quirks and slight errors (like our spacing, my off-tempo-ness, and walking a bit too far on stage, forgot to give our skit a title on the paper,) but overall we had fun, and it was great meeting the others performing.
