What got you into cosplay?
who didn't love dressing up for Halloween? (and any other day I could drag out the costumes!) Well, I also was a dancer all my life (recital and competition costumes!) and I did the high school theatre/show choir thing, and now I'm in a community theatre group.
What was your first costume and why?
Haruko Haruhaha from FLCL, because not only was it easy to make, I wanted an excuse to steal my brother's ski helmet, that thing is hilarious and awesome!
What is your favorite costume and why?
I like my Stargate Atlantis uniform, the coat is wonderful to jsut wear at most sci-fi cons! it's also the one I've gotten the most mileage out of! Also I love My Kamui Cosplay. ever since I read the manga (and saw the awful movie, though at the time I loved the movie) I fell in love with the characters and concept. I love kamui and fuma both equally, but kamui was more realistic for me to crossplay. I also adore it because the prop swords that my fuma and I worked on turned out really well!
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Balthier from FFXII I'm working on it...I plan to reuse the vest as a boddice at the renaissance festival. (I work there, and I get bored with the same costume every year)
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Anime Detour 2007 Final Form Xemnas...oh man. the other KH cosplayers were fun, and lost of people liked my costume! yay! many photos were had!
The X/1999 crossplay was great too, the photo session for it was fun! ribbon every where! rawr!
Do you participate in masquerades?
one, once, at Masrcon, didn't win anything, but it was fun, because it was my Stargate Atlantis, and that year they had a Stargate on main stage as the decoration!
otherwise, I can't participate in the Anime Detour Cosplay, I'm on staff, and I'm too busy to do Convergence due to our massive room party.
Tell us a little about yourself
I do leather craft....I paint, I scuplt, I make acessories (mostly for my BJD), I'm a graduate of MCAD for Illustration, I free-lance from time to time, and I tend to feel old a lot in the anime fandom......not as old as some i know...but older than the mass fan base!

I *heart* FF and KH games! however, I've been addicted to Fable II as of late.

Black Jewels Trilogy by Anne Bishop, and Dragon Riders of Pern by Anne McCaffery. I also love the Enchanted Forest Chronicles by Patricia C. Wrede, I read them in middle (Jr. high really) school, but about 10 years later I can't help but keep re-reading them, they're so fun and well written!

I only cosplay as characters I like....and I can't actually choose favorites...that'd be called making a decision, and I can't do that. I have a modifier of -18 for decision making.

My favorite actors/actresses
Don S. Davis, I met him at Marscon and he was the sweetest man! He loved wood working and sculpting!
unfortunately, he passed away the next year after I met him. He was truly amazing though.
