What got you into cosplay?
when i was in school my mum was a permenant stage hand for the drama dept, then we got into prop making, from there it escalated into stage effects and make up effects,
having unlimited access to the costume cupboord was a big influance on me too
What was your first costume and why?
when i was about 6 i was on holiday at a haven site, one ofthe nights was a fancy dress but i didnt have a costume, so i sewed together some yellow dusters and drew stripes in it in bingo marker and went as a haven mate
my mum (who was a professonal seemstress at the time) went mad that i was using needles at that age and that i got marker all over me and the floor,
i was really proud of myself even if the sleve fell off on stage
(needless to say i didnt win)
What is your favorite costume and why?
i have a navy Moulan Rouge dress that i made a few years ago that i then made into a reversable ball gown, i worked really hard on it and i thing i still havent finished some of the corset detailing on one side
i also have a beautiful (although bought not made) gothic princess dress, it has a burgandy velvet boddice with lace sleeves and a lace and satin skirt
i have black elbow length clives and a vlack tiara to match it
mike bought it for me and its one of my most prised costumes
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
seasons princesses, spring summer autum and winter, and because i'm a girlie girl the'd have to have wings
i have so many ideas so them but alas my funding means unless i mate it all out of papre bags (and free ones at that) i'm not going to get anywhere
i also wanna do a mystique costume(from Xmen)
i think that'd be awsome
i'm thinking of stitching scales onto a lycra body suit rather than have a scaly bikini and paint myself blue
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
mikes face when we got a hude cheer at the masquerade last week (oct 06)
i get reeealy bad stage fright
(even when not on stage)
and i was kacking my self...
i think i would have backed out altogether but i couldnt bare to dissapoint mike, he worked so hard of everything
Do you participate in masquerades?
surley do,
it was my first one in oct and i really didnt like being on stage, i prefer to be a "creator" rather than a "created" for the next con i plan to help a couple of the younger guys with there cosplay and skit, i'm also concidering mugging somone to let me go mad with the fx kit and turn them into a lion or somthin,
that is if me mate alex dosnt break my arm into doing puffy Ami Yumi
What was your best masquerade experience?
the only one i've had
it was good fun, it did freak me out going round in costume and having everyone stop me and ask for pics, it was weird...
i dont really like being noticed much, i kinda prefer to stay in the shadows so it made me quite nervous walking round the con,
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
sadly no
we have only entered 1 comp and there were so many amazing cosplays that i know the people who did win deserved it
i have quite a few costumes that i have either bought or made and i think its just for my own amusment, i'll try and get a few pics of the different things i have, some are just fun costumes but others are the ones i only really drag out for an occasion
Tell us a little about yourself
i'm 22 and i live in bristol i'm a legal advisor and have a wonderful boyfriend called mike who i have been with for 2 and a half years, i live with my mum, 2 cats polly and gene, and an iguana called spike.
i have a brother that lives in london who gets paid too much to do a job he loves too much!
i also have a sister who has a family of her own, she has a little boy called jake who is the cutest little lad ever and is just getting into starwars and does the best Darth Vadar impresson ever

i love first person shooters and especialy a mod for HL2 called the hidden (its awsome!)
i also love really cheesy girlie games like spyro and monsters inc
my fave on the gamecube is Hello kitty Roller rescue

i still havent unlocked everything, i mean c'mon how can i be beaten by a game with a 5yr and up age range
My favorite book(s)
the charlie bone series - 3 books, a total must for any harry potter fan, (andone who dosnt beel bad for billy reven must have a heart of lead
Anne of green gables - i reallt good book that drags you into anns fantisy world, its about ann who was sent from an orphanage to a couple my mistake instead of a boy, i never realised the importance of capped sleaves until i read this book
the cats of Seroster by robert westall
damn! its a hard book to read, i advise goint through the first pages as least twice to get used to the use of language in the book, it has extremely graphic discriptions in the beginning of a young boy watching his father be brutaly murdered before his eyes so watch out and if you can stomach that the rest of the book is a bloody good read..
definatly written with the cat lover in mind,
i guarentee you'll never look at your household pet the same again,
(and possibly develop a phobia)

Rukia from bleach - you know she could kick ichigos butt if she wanted
Weebl and bob - Soooo Cuuuute!

and of course i ADORE Hello Kitty, she is the apitamy of all which is good

i love Retro movies,
bill and ted, waynes world, ghostbusters, the original batman movies, back to the future, the original star wars movies, Robin hood, the dungons and dragons movie

i' also love ella enchanted at the moment, typical chick flick i know, and most cheesy fantasy movies like hocus hocus and Whiches
i also love Laberinth, the dark crystal and Willow,
i bought MirrorMask on DVD before i actualy watched ot and i can honistly say...WTF!!! how much random crap can they fit on a DVD????
My favorite actors/actresses
i'm a total fan girl of Angelina jolie and kirsten dunst, i dont know what it is about them being almost the exact oposites of each other but i think they are both totaly Awsome,
