What got you into cosplay?
At FACTS I noticed some Dutch anime/manga cosplayers and I was pleased that it became popular in Belgium.
What was your first costume and why?
BR: because the movie is awesome but I did not entirely made it myself. I was quite unexperienced and I wanted an outfit that was not that recognizable when I took the train etc.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Hmm... I have a couple but they are secrets. ;-)
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
That little children were amazed by my cosplay.
The way they looked at me with those sparkling eyes and big smiles... It gave me such a great, warm feeling! ^_^
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
I have won a few but I found other thing more relevant than winning prices.
The attention of other people, especially the children. If they come to you and are amazed by your cosplay, that gives me more credit than winning prices. Those compliments and smiling faces are worth of going this hobby. Also cosplay = FUN!
Tell us a little about yourself
My hobbies are: watching movies and anime, playing games, reading manga, being creative (drawing, cosplay, jewelery making, ...) and listening to music (festivals, concerts).
My family, friends, my lover and my pets are very important/dear to me. The thing I fear the most: had a lonely life when I die.
Is there anything else you'd like to add?
My dearest wishes:
- to have a good, healthy life
- to be happy
- that everyone who buy my jewelery are happy with it
- that cosplay becomes more popular in Belgium
- that I can visit lots of countries and other places because of the cosplay hobby
- that my friends have great luck and that they are happy
