What got you into cosplay?
I think a lot of little things got me into it. For one i was crazy about Anime and i loved all the outfits, i had done some acting before and i loved to work on craft stuff with my mom who usually did a lot of sewing for the local plays i participated in.
I guess it just kinda hit me when a friend of mine and i were looking at pics of other cosplayers online and i was really impressed!! I kept saying "wow that would be so much fun i wish i could do that!" and my friend, Tenshi Kitsune, said "well why dont you?" good point! later that same year i did my first cosplay costume ever, Freya from Chobits!!
What was your first costume and why?
I think this counts more as my first Anime Costume. because of all the plays i participated in, i had to wear costumes but it doesn't really count. so! my first anime costume ^_^ I dressed up as Freya from Chobits, for T.A.O.W.'s annual halloween cosplay event. (It was the Anime Club for Wayne State, aka The Anime Org. of Wayne.) My costume wasn't very good, more or less decent looking, but i worked really hard and had a lot of fun working on it. I had the best time walking around the costume party as Freya that i knew then and there that i wanted to cosplay. not just for halloween but for conventions and well anytime! ^_^
What is your favorite costume and why?
Hmmm thats so hard! I love all my costumes! I think it would be my Blink costume from A.O.A. X-men. (first worn Wizard world 06) It was really tricky because my entire body had to be painted light lavender, but i had the best time in it, because the guy that currently pencil's Blink for the Exiles stopped me and gave me a hug, completely out of the blue! it made me really happy to see him really happy and excited to see me. Mostly cuz shes very rarely cosplayed. Plus i got to meet him! how cool was that?
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Oh i have lots of dream costumes i'd like to make, but one that i'm really dieing to make but i know i'm not ready to attempt it yet is a Knight Sabre suit from Bubblegum Crisis 2040.
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
I think it was the first time me and Tenshi Kitsune entered a masquerade. We saw Trinity Blood for the first time about a week before the convention. and i worked really hard all week to get the costumes ready for Youmacon '06. I did all the fabric stuff and sewing, he did all the plastic detailing, prop making, and making sure we had enough buttons of the right color and such. either way it felt really good to have this great team effort to get our costumes done. (we ran a little short on time and i actually had to sew most of my costume together in the hotel room!) it was crazy but it was so much fun! So ya i didn't sleep for about 5 days solid, but in the end it payed off i was able to cosplay as Esther Blanchette in the Masquerade! which was scary all together because it was the first one i'd ever been in!
What was your best masquerade experience?
Best masquerade experience would have had to be Youmacon '06 which me and Tenshi Kitsune went as Abel Nightroad and Esther Blanchette, we dropped the costume's we were working on, they were both final fantasy costumes, and decided we wanted to do Trinity Blood after watching just the first disc. I was so scared and had butterflies in my tummy when i went up on stage for the first time in costume, but once i got up there i felt much better ^_^ (even better when i got back stage again) i was just happy to have been up on stage but i so super super surprized and thrilled when we won Best Craftmenship - Novice division! I was so happy we were screaming and jumping up and down. It just felt really good that all our hard worked payed off and people didn't think we looked goofy ^_^
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
I few, but the real rewarding part of cosplay is the challange of taking a 2D object and crafting it into 3D.
Tell us a little about yourself
I graduated college and recently landed a great job as a Customer Relations Manager for Toyota. I'm working on a couple of really interesting new projects on the side, and I hope have more to tell soon. ^_^ wish me luck!

My favorite game(s)
Soul Calibur (any), Final Fantasy (any) but the one I play again and again is Final Fantasy IV, Guilty Gear, Chrono Trigger! (Best game EVER!), Legends of Mana, and Super Mario Smash Bros., BlazBlue,
My favorite book(s)
I love reading! Not just comics and mangas, but regular books to. (you know those things that don't have pics?)
I've read all of Shakespeares work, Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Narnia series, Harry Potter, Twilight, Piers Anthony's Xanth and Phaze Series. I love Adventure novels, that have a hint of Romance invovled. so if you know any good ones, please feel free to send me a pm ^_^
Comics and Mangas are like the candy and snack foods of the literature world. Fun and Delicious I usually go through them like potato chips ^_^ Wonder Woman would have to be my fav comic book hero.
My fav Manga's include but are not limited to: Tsubasa R.C., Trinity Blood, Utena, Evangelion: Angelic Days, DearS, xxxHolic.

Like my books, I love my movies to have adventure and romance so below is a list of my favs.
