Shaolin Ronin

I'm an amateur photographer who decided to start my own business (Ronin's Photography) because I was getting so many requests for work. Some of the themes I enjoy photographing the most include cosplay, abandoned places, and "high fashion" in unusual locations. My style is usually candid/photo journalistic, but that all depends on the shoot.

What got you into cosplay?
Photography!
What was your first costume and why?
Casino Royale Bond (formal.) A friend needed a Bond to go with her Vesper Lynd, so she and a couple of other friends convinced me to do it. I was VERY reluctant at first, but ended up giving in... and had a BLAST at Dragon*Con 2008!
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
~ NekoCon 2006: taking my first cosplay photographs... and the rest is history:) ~ Getting to know some of the cosplayers outside of the convention atmosphere, and becoming good friends. ~ NekoCon 2007: Becoming the Official NekoCon Photographer, and head of the newly created Photography Department ~ Dragon*Con 2007: first time attending D*C, and it ruined all other cons for me! ~ Dragon*Con 2008: Casino Royale photoshoot by Lionel, with Klytaemnestra as Vesper. ~ AUSA 2008: Azaka with the epic Tenchi Muyo group.
