Uh, hi. I'm Ash or PinkPlasticNinja on sites everywhere... except this one 'cause it wouldn't fit.

I've been cosplaying at conventions for three years now, last year being my best experience yet even with an incomplete costume. Ellipsis (my cospay group) really made that weekend the best weekend ever, even with all the drama and badmouthing we got from a few people.

I'm really not that amazing at sewing/costume construction; but I do like to think I'm fairly decent when it comes to accessories, painting and wigs (lolol sort of ;_;) so my group likes to shove all those projects on me. <3

Also, I do NOT do commissions so don't ask. BUT if you have questions about how I made something or a wig I styled, feel free to shoot me a PM and I'll do my best to help you out.

What got you into cosplay?
Going to my first convention (Anime Oasis 2004) and seeing all the people dressed up. It looked like a lot of fun so I decided to do something for the next year.
What was your first costume and why?
Deidara. I was a little short on time and I wanted to cosplay someone who was kick-ass and looked like me (I knew next to nothing about wigs and didn't want to bother with one). I realized while I was reading Naruto, my hair looked a lot like Deidara's, who was one of my favorite characters. And I'm a pottery fag so it worked out.
What is your favorite costume and why?
KOS-MOS, as painful as it was to wear it for three days (heels + flat feet = ;___; paired with a wig that went past my ass...) and it was incomplete, I had a lot of fun cosplaying from Xenosaga with the rest of my group. And even though I got called a fatty (lolololololol) and got shit for wearing an unfinished costume, a lot of people gave me compliments and took my picture. <3 Plus I love KOS-MOS so cosplaying her was a ton of fun in general. Especially when I had my Shion by my side. ;D
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
Viral (Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann), Sanzo (Saiyuki), Xth form Haseo (.hack//G.U.), Sora (.hack//SIGN), Jade (Tales of the Abyss), Tira (Soul Calibur III/IV)... and maybe Roy (Fullmetal Alchemist) but only if my boyfriend creature does Hughes. ;D
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Performing with Ellipsis (my awesome cosplay group) at Anime Oasis Nana.
Do you participate in masquerades?
I sure do.
What was your best masquerade experience?
Last year at AO. My group got third place in the contest. ;o
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
For a skit, yes. For costumes, not yet.
Tell us a little about yourself
Not in school and I don't have a job. Inb4 slacker, dumbass, failure, ect. Don't need to remind me, folks. In my spare time, I rot in front of my computer playing an MMO called Flyff, sleep or work on costumes. Exciting, amirite?
