What got you into cosplay?
I was a Theatre major in school but most of my later experience was with movie replica vehicles and mechanical stuff rather than costumes. After being turned on to some Animes (Full Metal Alchemist, Eureka 7, InuYasha among others...), I'm dusting off my old costuming skills and giving them a try this year. I also do military reinactments at air shows and parades with my Swiss army truck and uniform.
What was your first costume and why?
I was always a big "Mad Max" fan and I went dressed for halloween one year as Max.
What is your favorite costume and why?
Mad Max will always be my favorite I think.
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
I'd like to do Jim Goose from "Mad Max". I'm working on a replica of his Kawasaki KZ1000 and the outfit would really make the package complete. If I was dreaming big, I'd say that I'd really like to do a reproduction forward air controller uniform from the Vietnam war complete with the Cessna O-2 aircraft. If I was dreaming REALLY BIG I'd say that I'd like to make an Hawke "Airwolf" jumpsuit and have the repro copter. Imagine flying into cons in that thing - OOORAH!
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Roadwar 151. Got to meet Vernon Wells and chauffer him around all weekend. Almost got arrested by the cops but that's another story...

Have you won any awards for your costumes?
Nope.
Tell us a little about yourself
Originally from Ohio, raised in Columbus. I have a BFA in Theatre Tech from Ohio State. I'm out of school now, working for a living doing international communiction work for a major pharmaceutical company. I have quite a few varied interests from Cosplay to performance vehicles, aviation and militaria. I'm in the midst of getting my pilot's certification for both fixed and rotary wing aircraft and I hope to own my own airplane one day.
