What got you into cosplay?
Well I stumbled upon 'cosplay' online and thought it was really cool looking, now I thought that in England it was just silly and didn't think it would be popular at all and thought it was only an American thing. But boy was I wrong! The flood of cosplayers at my first convention amazed me so much, so at my third convention I decided to finally go for it when my friends were willing to cosplay with me as I really didn't want to do it on my own *laughs*
What was your first costume and why?
If we're being technical here then it would be Kyo Sohma from Fruits Basket, though I only really wore his casual clothes and didn't bother with a wig because I thought I would stand out too much! So I don't count it as a real cosplay. My first real cosplay, shall we say, is Duo Maxwell from Gundam Wing because I'm a big GW fangirl and I only had one week to gather materials and stuff and since I had the costume in my costume already all I had to make was the scythe =3
What is your favorite costume and why?
My Clow Country Sakura dress most definitely, I adore the costume so much and it's definitely my best costume so far! I spend hours making the details just right [despite the cheap materials] and I'm really proud of it, there are many MANY flaws in the costume which I hope to fix one day but I still really like it and would like to rewear the costume more which is rare for me!
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
My dream cosplay WAS Garnet from FFIX, but I've done it now. I no longer have a dream costume however I do have a dream group. I would LOVE to get a full La Corda d'Oro group with everybody being able to play the same instrument as their character~
What has been your most memorable cosplay experience?
Getting attacked my caterpillars. I had about 50 on my Garnet cosplay and it was down right scary! Luckily I had like 4-5 fellow cosplayers helping getting them off my dress and another two comforting me. Cosplayers are so nice x]
Do you participate in masquerades?
I do yes, I used to get so stage fright. Now I get excited everytime! It's seriously a big confident boost and it's a great way of showing off a costume hehe!
What was your best masquerade experience?
Massive Final Fantasy IX group!! It was seriously epic and everybody looked awesome!

2nd place juniors @ Midlands MCM Expo 08 with Hao and friend as Ren, Joint 1st place at Taunton Tokyopop ReCon April 08 with Clow Country Sakura, Best costume at Taunton Tokyopop ReCon Oct 08 with Princess Garnet til Alexandros XVII
Tell us a little about yourself
I suck at writing bios, I always cringe when I read back! But hey I'm in my final year of secondary school, fighting through exams, coursework and deciding on what to do for the FUTURE! I play violin and piano as my main instruments, I also play organ, keyboard, guitar and recorder, I sing in choirs as well! I do ballet and jazz/modern dance which is great fun and I love running despite having very bad stamina! It is a dream of mine to cosplay around the world, I'll make this happen as I grow up!

I used to hate wigs... now I want to buy every single one I see. Oh dear me ._.;
