What got you into cosplay?
Sailor Moon R dub in 6th grade made me want to make my first anime costume, but then I found about the actual cosplay hobby in 2002 and went to my first con the next summer.
What was your first costume and why?
Craptastic Neo/Queen Serenity, I was really obsessed with Sailor Moon at the time so I got a cheap pair of Halloween store fairy wings and this flowy blue & white floral dress that I had, drew a picture of the locket on some notebook paper and stuck in on with scotch tape. The old ladies I got candy from on Haloween loved it though haha. My first costume at a con was an equally ghettotastic Kagome. Double-sided tape pleats, 'nuff said. My earliest home made costume was when I wore Darkwing Duck to school in Pre-K, nobody knew who I was...losers. :P
Do you have a dream costume you'd like to make?
It keeps changing ._.;;
Do you participate in masquerades?
Occasionally, not unless I REALLY like the series and/or script.
What was your best masquerade experience?
SPRINGTIME FOR GENDOU, AND TOKYO-3.
Have you won any awards for your costumes?
No, I've only recently started to compete.
Tell us a little about yourself
In college (w00tPENNSTATE), undecided as of now but most likely Food Science as a major and something artsy as a minor. (Maybe photography?) And I collect Pinky:st figures asian ball-jointed dolls.
